Substance Abuse

Its been brought to my attention that my blog has turned a little "Pinterest". I'll admit fault in that but in my defense:

 1. The pictures I post are a dead give away to who I am and where Im at on those days. Plus, its my secret way of "pinning" and still maintaining that I dont have the Pinterest.

 2. Blogging takes a lot of time. I get it... "you signed up for it." and I did. But I hate think its silly when people force posts because they feel some need to purge information about themselves that they assume people are interested in. I'll just say it: few people are cool enough to need to post their activities and thoughts 1-3 times a week. There's been something said about quality of quantity and I stay pretty close to that belief. Blog world included.

 3. Over exposure. Or as I have declared it today- "substance abuse". I feel like there is a lot to be said about a bit of mystery. What a rip off to be able to go to the internet and find out everything about someone. Sure, social networks give you a glimpse. Its pictures and happy times (unless you are one of those fools with the dramatic open ended FB posts. ew.) and blogs let you dig a layer deeper to the occasional bad day and rant about people who post dramatic FB posts but Im from a generation where we do it the old fashioned way. Through text message. Im joking; dont lose your lunch. I am just saying that I would like to pretend that there is more to me than you get to learn by dialing up a connection to the world wide web.

Let me confidently leave you with this: I am way better in person.
